Pause.Minnesotans might be low-key on the surface, but over four Idea Open Challenges, we’ve uncorked a geyser of ideas! Most recently, you shared your $1 million ideas for our capital city. We now have more than 2,000 ideas that aim to solve big issues like obesity, water stewardship and working together across cultures and faiths. So, we’re catching our breath in 2014. We won’t be hosting a Challenge this year, but we will be re-reading all of your great ideas. You told us what’s interesting, what’s important and what’s on your mind by submitting your ideas, and we want to learn from what you’ve shared with the Idea Open community. Minnesota Community Foundation launched the Idea Open in 2010. This year, the Foundation is thinking about the future and how the Idea Open will be a part of it. We’re excited to explore the possibilities – and get a few extra winks after four exciting years of Idea Open Challenges! Stay tuned.
